I have a Triumph 2000 manual overdrive, colour brown for sale as I will be downsizing to a smaller property and will no longer have the room to store it. Registration Number IK4449, (Registration currently on hold). First registered 07/09/1977. Two private owners. 63843 Original Km. As soon as I get it out of the shed I will provide better photos. Price: open to offers. A bit of history: I purchased it from Dodd Motors in Woodend in 1994. It had only done 63250 Km. As you can see I have not done a lot with it. It has been shed stored since owning it and during this time have owned other Triumphs ranging from a Herald to Mk1 2000, Mk2 2000 and a Mk2 2500. The vehicles first owner was an elderly gentleman who slipped the clutch a lot and consequently the clutch was replaced where he had it serviced with an after market unit. The clutch was horrible and heavy so I replaced it with a Borg & Beck unit. While doing so I stripped the gear box down to seal oil leaks and I think some sealant has got in the wrong place and think it has spun a bearing in the front of the box. I haven’t had the engine running for a couple of years when I cleaned it the carbs out and fitted new carb kits. (SU carbs).
